IMPRINT ON ALOX SCALES
A silicone stamp is used to transfer ink from the engraved steel printing block to elec-
trochemically treated and thus microscopically porous aluminum scales. The surface
is then sealed and the ink particles become enclosed in a wafer-thin anodized layer.
This anodized layer is scratch- and impact-resistant. Multi-color printing of imprints
is also possible with this process. Color matching with customer-speciƂ c colors is
limited. For imprints on Alox knives, the imprint area is located on the back.
Exceptions: Imprint in white is not possible
