3-Layer So昀琀shell

A 3-layer so昀琀shell consists of three di昀昀erent materials
that are bonded together. All three contribute to the
            fabric‘s functionality.

Our so昀琀shell features a 昀椀ne polyester single jersey on
the outside, o昀昀ering elasticity and water resistance due
to its choice of 昀椀bre. A semi-permeable membrane is
placed in the middle, preventing external water from
entering while allowing body-transpired water vapor
to escape. The inside of our so昀琀shell features a micro
昀氀eece, which, like the outside single jersey, is elastic
            and retains body heat.

Stedman® So昀琀shell guarantees maximum comfort with
optimal functionality, making it perfect for outdoor use.

            Woven Fabrics

Woven fabrics are created by crossing horizontal (we昀琀)
and vertical (warp) threads to form a textile surface.
These fabrics are inherently less elastic and can be
tightly woven to create waterproof surfaces. We use
woven fabrics for our padded jackets and vests.

            T a 昀昀 e t a

Ta昀昀eta is woven by using a plain weave. This is the
simplest and tightest of all weave types, where each
warp thread is alternating over a we昀琀 thread. Woven
from water-repellent nylon, it creates a waterproof
surface for our padded jackets and vests.
