Regulation

Hereafter, we detail a short description about the additional and basic requirements established by the
               European regulations on safety footwear:

               EN ISO 20344
This regulation defines the testing methods for occupational and safety footwear. It is used alongside the
regulations EN ISO 20345 and EN ISO 20347, wherein the requirements that footwear must comply with
according to the risk levels are detailed.

EN ISO 20345 Specifications for safety footwear

This international standard details the additional and basic requirements for safety footwear, including FOOTWEAR
mechanical risks: safety toe designed to resist a maximum impact of 200J and crushing up to a force of 15 kN,
slip resistance, thermal risks and ergonomic characteristics.

EN ISO 20347 Specifications for work footwear

This international standard details the additional and basic requirements for occupational footwear that is not
exposed to any mechanical risks (impact or compression).

Toe with impact resistance up to an energy equivalent to 200 J and
                          compression force of 15 kN.

               UNE-EN 61340-5-1 Electrostatic Protection
Antistatic footwear is used when it is necessary to minimize the risk of accumulation of electrostatic
charges by dissipating them in the shortest possible time; guaranteeing the safety of the worker in
areas with electronic control machines. It provides additional protection for resistances less than
                          100 kΩ.
