STANDARDS AND CERTIFICATIONS

                                       STANDARDS FOR GLOVES

                                     EN ISO 21420:2020

This standard specifies the general requirements and relevant test methods for
glove design and construction, harm minimization, comfort and effectiveness as
well as the manufacturer's labeling and information applicable to all protective
                                     gloves.

The general requirements for protective gloves include:

                                      • Standardized dimensions for sizes
                                      • The gloves should not pose a risk or cause injury or allergies
                                      • The glove material should have a pH value between 3.5 and 9.5 (neutral)
                                      • The maximum permissible value for chromium VI in glove material is 3 mg/kg
                                      • The labelling of gloves and packaging is also standardized

                                      EN 388:2016+A1:2018

This European Standard specifies requirements, test methods, marking and
information to be provided for protective gloves against the mechanical risks of
abrasion, cutting, tearing, puncture and, where appropriate, impact.
This standard is used in conjunction with EN ISO 21420:2020.
