“WE ARE CONTINUING THE STORY OF

CO2-NEUTRAL HIGH-VISIBILITY VESTS!”

Here at Korntex, we are aware of our responsibility towards the environment.
Our primary goal is to reduce our ecological footprint in a sustainable way.

In 2021, the independent organization Fokus Zukunft (fokus-zukunft.com) carefully exami-
ned our entire value chain and calculated the precision of the CO2 emissions per
high-visibility vest produced. This represented a major step towards climate protection.

As a result, we decided to take a ground-breaking approach and pioneer the industry by
developing and producing the world’s first CO2-neutral high-visibility vest. In 2022, we
proudly launched the “Paris“ high-visibility vest, an outstanding product that offers
companies the opportunity to also focus on sustainability when purchasing safety vests.

To offset our negative carbon footprint, we invested in our first climate measure - the
construction of a wind farm in China. This wind farm generates clean energy that is
used exclusively for the production of our vests. At the same time, this helps to keep
climate-damaging lignite in the soil instead of extracting it.

Due to the enormous success of the basic high-visibility vest “Paris”, we were delighted to
present the multifunctional high-visibility vest “Hamburg” (item KXCMF) in 2023 - another
completely climate-neutral innovation. In 2024, we are set to continue this same success
story with the Korntex kidswear collections “Action Line” and “Funtastic Wildlife”, which
were developed to be climate-neutral from the very beginning.
