EN ISO 20471
This standard specifies the requirements for high-visibility warning clothing.
1 The high-visibility clothing must ensure that the wearer is highly visible in all
2 lighting conditions:
• The wearer must be easily recognizable in daylight, by vehicle headlights in the dark
3 or when viewed by other technical equipment.
• The performance requirements of this standard concern material colours, the
minimum surface area on the materials, retroreflection, and the placement of strips
on the high-visibility clothing.
